John Richards, The Morning Show Host of KEXP selected Breckin's debut single as Song Of The Day for February 8th, 2018.

Three days prior, the song of the day had been Sufjan Stevens 'Tonya Harding' - so it was an exciting moment to be featured as an emerging artist on both the station and their podcast which has over 500,000 subscribers.

The KEXP review, by Stephanie Garr describes The Story Bridge as "haunting dream folk" and goes on say say "Her imagery is vivid and devastating, but her voice remains eerily calm- hushed, almost angelic- over the sad trembling of her guitar"
